Is Your Well Empty?

"Self Care." 

It's a phrase that generally conjures up images of lazy afternoons, walks at the beach, spa visits, and other luxuries. While nice in theory, for many self-care is only an occasional practice. Yet as early as Genesis, God calls us to practice rest. And this rest is intended to be not an occasional luxury, but a regular part of our pursuit of emotional and mental well-being as a Christian, as much as prayer, acts of service, and reading scriptures.

We fill our lives up with activity, and while much of it may be well-intended, it cannot take the place of the rest that God designed for us.

Join us on Friday, September 30th and Saturday, October 1st as we explore numerous ways to incorporate self-care into your mental health and Christian walk. We'll begin to "refill the well" and also drink deeply in the process!

This year's conference will take place online and is open to:

  • Training and licensed professional mental health clinicians

  • Those in full-time or part-time ministry

  • Church members

  • Adult lay leaders

  • Recovery group facilitators

At this online event, you will also have opportunities to connect with others on topics that interest you and have deeper discussions during our open breakout times.
