ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
October 18th and 19th, 2024

For All Attendees: Back to Basics

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. -- Romans 12:2

Post-pandemic, anxiety and depression remain common mental health issues in the United States, especially among young adults under age 30.  While these experiences can feel isolating, those who suffer can find comfort in knowing that they are not alone, and there are a number of tools to help them get through this. This year, we are going "back to basics", and discussing the the many clinical and spiritual solutions that are available. Like the building of a house, a strong framework for managing depression and anxiety may not be something that can be visibly seen, but can make all the difference in creating a beautiful life.

Join us on Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th as we journey on the pathways to healing. You'll leave with a greater understanding of how scripture portrays human nature comprehensively, how worldview can impact the practice of psychology, and how understanding the truths of Scripture can result in better care for others and ourselves.

This year's conference will take place both in-person, in Atlanta, GA, and online.

The conference is open to:

  • Training and licensed professional mental health clinicians

  • Those in full-time or part-time ministry

  • Church members

  • Adult lay leaders

  • Recovery group facilitators

Whether you attend in person or online, you will also have opportunities to connect with others on topics that interest you and have deeper discussions during our open breakout times.

For Mental Health Clinicians:
A Special Invite for Servants of Souls

While all are welcome to join the Christian Counseling Conference, we want to extend a special invitation to professionals in the mental health field.

Jesus models for us these godly features of human existence for himself and his followers. He took his disciples (after a season of energy-draining human engagement) with him to retreat.

When the apostles returned, they reported to Jesus what they had done. Then he took them with him and they withdrew by themselves to a town called Bethsaida – Luke 9:10

The 2024 InsideOut Conference is such a time as this. Our topic: Back to Basics: Clinical and Spiritual Strategies for Anxiety and Depression will focus on how we can combine biblical and clinical solutions to manage these common conditions. Whether you are a student in mental health or have been practicing for many years, we hope you will add your voice to this conversation.

For mental health professionals, we have not one, but two full days of content planned. Our Friday class offerings are for clinicians only, and on Saturday we have a dedicated track for mental health professionals. All six of these classes, along with our general sessions, are CE-eligible. You will also have opportunities to network and connect with your peers at roundtable discussions on both days.

You will leave renewed in your important work. Join us in Atlanta (or online) on October 18th and 19th!
