Patrick Charlier, LPC, is a therapist in private practice and the founder of Journey to the Couch. His clinical work focuses on men’s mental health, couples therapy, and trauma recovery, with a special interest in reshaping how men understand strength, vulnerability, and connection. From Isolation to Connection: Helping Men Reclaim Their Voice

Male clients often struggle with loneliness, rigid expectations of masculinity, and difficulty forming authentic relationships. This workshop offers an interactive exploration of how to help men reclaim their voice in therapy and in life. We’ll discuss the challenges men face in expressing emotions, practice interventions that foster resilience and self-awareness, and reflect on how faith communities can be both barriers and sources of healing. Participants will leave with actionable tools to deepen their work with men in both group and individual settings.
