Jennifer Lopez, LPCC

Jennifer Lopez is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California. She earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Liberty University and specializes in healing church hurts/religious trauma and relational issues. She has served in the full time ministry for 30 years with 20 of those years living with her family on the mission fields of Thailand, Cambodia and the Philippines. She and her husband Cesar have 3 adult children who are all disciples, and one is married. She currently serves as a women’s ministry leader in Los Angeles while maintaining a limited number of clients in her private practice. Her passion is helping women come to know Christ, experience his love/healing power and to discover their purpose in life.

Becoming Wounded Healers: Responding to Religious Trauma or Church Hurts

This class will seek to educate the attendees regarding religious trauma and the myriad of symptoms of church hurts. The ministry of Jesus is to bring healing and not hurt. This class will educate attendees on the devastation of religious trauma and provide healthy instruction to bring healing from the hurts. Recognition of the triggers for retraumatization is also very important to avoid further injury.
