Michael Pope

Michael Pope is a native of Dayton, Ohio, and moved to Marietta, GA, in 1996. Michael has been married to his wife LaShell for 30 years, and they have two lovely daughters, Evan and Erin. Michael was baptized in Atlanta, GA, in 1997. God called Michael and LaShell to serve in the full-time ministry in 2000 at the Atlanta Church of Christ West Cobb. In 2006, Michael was appointed an Evangelist. He and LaShell have served in various ministries in Atlanta, Savannah, and Southern California until God called them to serve as Evangelist and Women's Ministry Leader at Bridge Pointe Church in October 2021.

Michael has a Master's in Divinity, a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling, and is a Certified Solution-Focused Life coach. Michael is currently working towards his Doctor of Ministry degree. They are both Certified Marriage trainers with the Prepare and Enrich program. Michael’s passion is working with the next generation, volunteering in underserved communities, and helping families and marriages.
