SPEAKER PANEL: Jennifer Lopez, Sean St. Jean, Sajjan Sharma, Jennifer Konzen

Jennifer Lopez is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California. She earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Liberty University and specializes in healing church hurts/religious trauma and relational issues. She has served in the full time ministry for 30 years with 20 of those years living with her family on the mission fields of Thailand, Cambodia and the Philippines. She and her husband Cesar have 3 adult children who are all disciples, and one is married. She currently serves as a women’s ministry leader in Los Angeles while maintaining a limited number of clients in her private practice. Her passion is helping women come to know Christ, experience his love/healing power and to discover their purpose in life.

Dr. Sean St. Jean MSW, RSW has been a clinical therapist for the past 15 years. He has shared his helpful insights on trauma, occupational stress, and organizational health at conferences around the world. Sean is a full-time professor at King University (Bristol, Tennessee), teaching therapy at a graduate level. He is also a therapist in private practice, and has worked with hundreds of church members and ministry staff globally who are struggling with spiritual trauma, workplace stress, relationship issues or ministry burnout. His book, “Spiritual Trauma: A Guide to Healing Your Heart From Church Hurts” was published in 2023 and can be found at Sean currently serves on the ICOC Ministers Wellness Committee and has contracted with HOPE Worldwide to provide counselling support to disciples internationally. Sean, his wife Erin, and their three children live in British Columbia, Canada and are members of the Vancouver Church of Christ.

After emigrating from India with his family in 1975, Sajjan began his spiritual journey in 1993
and has worked in the full-time ministry for the past 28 years. He received his MSW degree
from Boston College in 2006 and is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Psychology and
Biblical Counseling. Sajjan is one of the founders of CrossPoint Clinical Services, Inc. and has a passion for integrating faith with his clinical training. Along with his wife, Lisa, he has led churches around the world and in New England and has recently joined the Northview Church of Christ staff.

Jennifer Konzen, PsyD, LMFT (#51241), CST, CCDC. Dr. Konzen is the director for the Center for Sexuality in San Diego, CA. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist, a certified sex therapist, and a certified chemical dependency counselor. She is also a two-time nationally award-winning researcher, an international speaker, and an adjunct professor at Bethel Seminary, Point Loma Nazarene University, and Alliant International University, and online at Rocky Mountain School of Ministry and Theology. Dr. Konzen is the author of The Art of Intimate Marriage and Redeemed Sexuality and the upcoming The Ransomed Journey: Couples Recovery from Addiction.
